In this full-time role, you will focus on treating individuals affected by trauma, particularly those grappling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your contributions will not only facilitate healing but will also guide patients on their journeys towards recovery and resilience.

About the Organization\n

Adorn Life Behavioral Health Center is a premier mental health provider committed to offering comprehensive outpatient services. Our mission is to restore hope and provide healing pathways for those who have experienced trauma. We pride ourselves on creating a safe and supportive environment where patients can openly discuss their struggles. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will work alongside like-minded professionals dedicated to evidence-based therapeutic approaches and patient-centered care.

Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote capacity, allowing for flexibility while still maintaining a strong connection with our outpatient office. Your work schedule will align with patient needs, typically from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some possibility for adjusted hours based on patient requirements. While the role is remote, regular virtual meetings and case consultations will ensure team collaboration and cohesive moral support.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' psychological and emotional history, helping to tailor appropriate treatment strategies.
  • \n
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and encourage resilience, adapting approaches as necessary based on patient progress.
  • \n
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster healing.
  • \n
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their traumatic experiences, cultivate coping mechanisms, and develop emotional regulation skills.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated care for your patients, addressing all aspects of their mental health needs.
  • \n
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and immediate support.
  • \n
  • Guide patients and their families through educational sessions, discussing trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources within the community.
  • \n
  • Document and maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • \n
  • Engage in professional development activities, team meetings, and case consultations to promote best practices in trauma-informed care.
  • \n
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic techniques and improve patient outcomes.
  • \n
Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals who have endured significant trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This patient population may include a diverse range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and levels of trauma severity. Your role will be pivotal in providing the necessary support and interventions that can positively impact their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental demeanor is essential.
  • \n
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with electronic health record (EHR) systems and necessary software applications.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n
    \n
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-licensure in a relevant mental health setting is preferred.
  • \n
  • Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions to diverse client populations is highly desirable.
  • \n
  • A successful history of working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care.
  • \n
